5th Annual Book'n It Run!

The "Book'n It Run" for literacy is scheduled for Saturday, August 9. The route begins near the Public Library and Sheehan Park in Sun Prairie. The run has evolved from a run on pavement, to a cross country run, to the current road race, which finishes in the park. This event is designed to offer something for everyone- -kids, teens, adults, casual and serious runners.

New Partnership --The Sun Prairie Public Library Foundation, whose mission is "... to make the library the best library it can be," joins the Sun Prairie Rotary Club to improve an already popular and fun event, to make it a destination race for all. Both organizations are committed to supporting projects that promote literacy and life-long learning.

New 100 Meter Run for Readers -- A fun fun for readers age 10 and under has also been added this year for kids participating in the library's summer reading program.
